This type of counselling is aimed at offering support to individuals couples and families that are going through a crisis in order to help them better adjust to the change. In this approach the problem is looked at systemically as affecting the whole family not just being the problem of one individual in that family.

Bereavement Counselling

Is a service aimed at clients who have suffered a significant loss (a life partner, a child, a family member, or a close friend) and feel that this event has fundamentally changed their life leaving them with a sense of being stuck in grief and without having the ability to process it in a functional, healthy way.

Is meant to help the client get a better understanding of him/herself and to develop as a self in order to prevent or find solutions for any emotional, cognitive or behavioral problems . It is aimed at individuals going through a crisis may it be personal, professional or related to their relationships and who would prefer to have their counselling by phone or video, via Skype.

The services are offered in a therapeutic environment that is safe, confidential, and built on a foundation of trust.

Couples Therapy: We provide psychotherapy for couples who wish to improve communication, overcome conflicts, and build healthy relationships based on connection and understanding.

Individual Therapy: I approach emotional, behavioral, or relational issues with empathy and professionalism. Using a collaborative approach, alongside the client we will work together to identify and explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that affect the client’s well-being and develop skills and resources to achieve their personal goals.

Parental Education: We offer support and guidance to parents in addressing the specific challenges of raising and educating children. Using a specific approach called Circle of Security I  provide information, strategies, and practical techniques to improve emotional regulation, parenting skills, establish effective boundaries and rules, and develop a healthy and empathetic relationship with their children.

Grief Therapy: We are here to support individuals going through the process of grief and loss. Through individual or group therapy, we provide a safe and empathetic space to explore and understand the emotions and difficulties associated with the loss of a loved one. We help clients cope with and adapt to the changes and transformations related to the grieving process.

 

Clinical Psychological Assessment: We conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning of clients. We use specialized tools and tests to gain a detailed understanding of individual needs, resources, and challenges, offering a clinical perspective to establish an appropriate intervention plan.
